Gourmet Recipes using Trabia Farm's Oils & Vinegars
Chef Julie Simon was born in Paris, France. When she was twelve, her family moved to southerwestern France where they opened a bar and restaurant. After embarking on a path to study Law, Julie soon realized that her true passion was for cooking. She arrived in California to being her culinary career. She has worked at Windows on the Water in Morro Bay with Pandee Pearson, The Park Restaurant in San Luis Obispo with Maegan Loring, and the Ocean Grill at Avila Beach.
For Julie, food was the link that brought her family together to cook, eat, laugh, and share stories. Her experiences growing-up in France around the family kitchen and table sound a lot like ours, growing up in Mama Sanitina's Italian kitchen. We are delighted that Julie agreed to share some of her recipes with us in Mama's Cucina.
